Thank you for your interest in joining the Breathe London Network.

Before we send you off to the Imperial College store to purchase your Node, there’s a few things we thought might be useful to let you know about the purchase process.

If you haven’t already, do take a look at our Location and Installation guide which can help you think about the best location for your Node.

 

What is included in the price?

Breathe London operates as a ‘sensing as a service’ model. This means the purchase price includes the Node hardware, pre-deployment calibration checks, realtime network calibration checks and ongoing data management. The cost is billed annually. We will contact you again before the end of each year to re-subscribe for the next year. If you do not re-subscribe, your Node(s) will stop collecting data.

Please note, installation by Imperial staff is not included in the price.

Where does my money go?

Node purchases are made through the Imperial College London online store. The purchase price is split between Clarity and Imperial for the hardware and services. No money goes to the Greater London Authority (GLA).

Is there a limit on how many Nodes I can purchase?

There is no limit to the number of Nodes which can be purchased, but we limit purchases to one at a time in order to collect information such as the name you want to give to the Node, your organisation name, the location the Node will be located etc for the Breathe London website.

If you are an organisation looking to either deploy a network of Breathe London Nodes or would like to donate Nodes to communities, it may be more suitable to consider becoming a Strategic Partner.

What information do you need?

During the purchase process, we will need to collect information such as the name you want to give to the Node, your organisation name, and the location of the Node. This information will appear on the Breathe London website alongside your Node data. Don’t worry if you don't know this at the time of purchase, you will be able to return to a management page to enter and amend these details after you receive your Node. These instructions will be in your Node dispatch email.

During the purchase process we will also need to collect some personal information from you such as your name, email address, billing address and delivery address. This information will be held securely by us (Imperial College London) according to our online store policy. This information will not be displayed on the Breathe London website.

What happens after I purchase a Node?

When you buy a Node, you will receive an order confirmation email from the Imperial College London online store and a separate Welcome email.

Once a Node has been assigned to you and dispatched, you will receive a second email informing you of the expected delivery date of your Node(s) along with links to your Node management page.

Note: If you want your Node delivered to a different address than your billing address, be sure to add a delivery address as you go through the purchase screens.
