Breathe London Community Groups
Brixton Central
We are delighted to be part of Breathe London's initiative. We are passionate about improving air quality for children and excited that we can do this together with our local nursery, situated in the heart of Brixton. We hope this will also contribute to the Lambeth Air Quality Action Plan, supporting their push for cleaner air for residents.

The accurate and up-to-date data from the new monitor will enable students, parents and communities to work with Lewisham council on measures to reduce air pollution, and build support for the Mayor's programme to reduce air pollution across London.
Green Our Neighbourhood
We want our school children to breathe clean healthy air. We plan to plant hedges in front of our local primary schools and want to monitor the difference they make to air quality. That’s why we are so keen to have a Breathe London sensor.
Friends of Woodcock Park
“The pollution of the water is now being closely monitored and the addition of an air pollution monitor will give us a clear indication of the impact of air pollution on the health of local residents, pupils and students, as well as the trees, bushes, plants and biodiversity in the area..”
Florence Road Residents Group
FRRG are delighted to have been successful in our application for a Breathe London node. The data from the node will help us to determine pollution levels and when they are at their highest. This will provide important evidence to help the FRRG to campaign and fundraise for mitigation measures to help to protect both residents and passers-by from exposure to the dangerously high pollution levels. The project will also further strengthen community relationships, increase understanding of how the area is affected by air pollution and climate change, and help to promote health improvements.
